About the Program
Discover ‘Permaculture for the Impermanent: Permaculture and Theology.’ This day combines the history and philosophy of permaculture, practical permaculture gardening, and design lessons with the insights of Christian theology. We’ll explore how faith and sustainable living intersect through engaging visuals, interactive presentations, and hands-on activities leading to a deeper understanding of permaculture and its connection to our spiritual journey.”
Mary Frances Beesorchard was raised in Western North Carolina and studied Spanish at University of North Carolina, Asheville. She has been blessed to live in Orono, Maine, since 2019, attending St. John’s Episcopal Church, and a Companion since March 2023. Her interest lies in exploring the connections between faith and natural history. Outside of this, Mary also enjoys spinning yarn, knitting, and a variety of fiber arts.
