The Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross (SCHC) is a diverse community of women who share a commitment to intercessory prayer, thanksgiving and simplicity of life. We focus our prayers on the needs of individuals and families known to Companions around the world as well as on our concerns for justice and peace, the unity of God’s people and the mission of God in the world.

The SCHC co-sponsored a conference Anglican Women at Prayer: Weaving Our Bonds of Affection which gathered 120 women from across the Anglican Communion from March 14-16, 2014 on the campus of VTS in Alexandria, Virginia, to worship, sing, learn about one another’s lives, pray for and with one another, share how and for what we pray, and most of all to begin developing bonds of affection.
