Silent Retreat: And Who Is My Neighbor?

The parable of the Good Samaritan in the tenth chapter of the Gospel of Luke is one of the best known and most beloved of all Jesus’ parables. We will spend our time looking at the lawyer's challenge to Jesus and exploring the rich story and clear teaching that Jesus gave in response. This invites us to consider how we can become true neighbors to those whom God brings into our lives whether near or far, known or unknown, and then consider the inner resistances that we must overcome.
